“Remember you art dust and unto dust you shall return”
Ash Wednesday
Thank you to everyone who lifted me up in prayer and with the get well wishes! The procedure went well, I am grateful to God for another day to praise and worship our Creator. I remain a bit “lightheaded”, out of balance and had an episode of numbness on my right side arm and leg. Checkup is Friday. I had an atheist in the next bed, God puts these people in front of us each day. Our Bishop said we had a bumper crop of priests recovering in hospitals sate wide.
There is a wealth of Lenten information in our Narthex, and an abundance of apps such as Ascension and Dynamic Catholic, Formed, Bishop Barren etc. Give up wasted time on Netflix and social media and use something to make you the best version of yourself.
Stations of the Cross are held each Friday at 5:30 PM. A light supper of soup and salad creates fellowship in the Hall afterwards.
The Passion by Mel Gibson is being shown on Palm Sunday, March 29, in the Hall from 12-3PM. Due to its graphic violence (rated R) parental discretion is strongly advised. Everyone should see this movie at least once in their lifetime. Greatest movie ever created.
HAVE A BLESSED LENTEN SEASON
