“Believing is an act of the intellect, assenting to the Divine Truth, by the command of the will, moved by God, through grace.” – St Thomas Aquinas
Greetings Everyone!
We have survived a major storm, and another snowfall is expected this weekend. Kindly remember that regardless of the attendance whether 2 or 200, the lights go on, the fuel burns, and the plow is clearing the lot. Expenses do not decline. Please, if possible, make up collections that you may have missed.
At press time, the storm should not interrupt the weekends proceedings. Ministry Retreat, Faith Formation and the Kearsarge Choral Concert forge ahead. We will send out a cancellation bulletin if necessary.
Catholic Schools Collection is this Sunday.
St. Blasé Blessing of throats is this Sunday after Masses.
Fr. Don’s heart procedure is two weeks away. Prays are requested.
Blood Drive is Feb. 17th in Parish Hall.
Ash Wednesday is February 18, and marks the the beginning of Lenten Season. Masses will be on Wednesday at 8:30 & Noon. There is an ecumenical service at 7PM.
Please watch for various spiritual programs for Lent. We will publish dates for Stations of Cross, a study series of the Passion by Carrie Richter, a viewing of the Passion movie by Mel Gibson, Lenten books to read and the Monday night Book Club discussions.
