“If we really want to love; we must first learn how to forgive.”
St. Mother Theresa
Greetings, from Florida,
I will be kind…and wish you were here! We have had blessed weather 70’s -80’s. I also made the usual mistake of taking too many clothes, but I am enjoying the surroundings and weather. I have been meeting family and old friends after a 12 year absence. This week I am beginning to decompress. Yes, it takes that long to clear my head!
My thanks to the Dominican Friars who made this vacation possible. I regret the live stream camera was not on. I too wanted to watch it. These are simple things which others can do. Hopefully more people will step forward to continue to make parish things run in my absence.
On my return, I need to jump into the holidays and the Advent/Christmas season we all enjoy. Like yourselves, I cannot believe another year has come and gone. A year with more wisdom and a year closer to heaven’s call. The only thing I can say is that it will get worse!
So, I will see you at the end of the week. The holiday fair for the parish is one of our annual fundraisers. Please stop by and mingle with all the hard workers. It is a loving project put on by many and also gets us into the holiday spirit. I will see you there. I am assuming my airline flight is on time and should be arriving late late Friday. Until then, be assured of my continue prayers. We pray for those who have lost loved ones this past year. May they rest in peace.
