From the Pastor …
The Rummage Sale at Immaculate Conception is this Saturday from 9AM to 12PM. Come find your next treasure.
The Parish Picnic last Sunday was a huge success. My thanks to Tom P. and Steve J. for organizing the event, and to all the volunteers who worked so hard or donated food to create a great event. It was the most enjoyable day I have had since joining the parish.
Next Sunday the 28th, after the 10:30 Mass, we will be saying good-bye to Brian Fraioli. Brian has worked here at Our Lady of Fatima for the past decade or so. He has been a dedicated Plant Maintenance Manager. Come and wish him well.
A reminder to all our visitors and parishioners, due to Emergency Safe Environment/ Active Shooter regulations, we need to keep the Narthex lobby free of loose chairs so there will be for easy exit in case of emergency.
CAPITAL REPAIRS. The Councils and I have tried to set a 5 years plan for repairs to big items on the property. Lining up contractors that need to work on the projects takes months sometimes. Repairs such as the chimney were not in our plans for this year, but now takes priority. We will try to get the chimney repaired or replaced in the next few weeks. Also, we need to recoat the parking lot, put new striping in the spaces and clean drain areas. I will use the extra funds from the Campaign for one of these projects.
Have a wonderful week.
