“The true measure of loving God is to love Him without measure.”
St. Bernard
Dear Friends,
Congratulations and thank you to all those who worked so hard and contributed to the success of the St. Patty’s Dinner. May God reward your kindness!
Those who can help decorate for Palm Sunday, cover statues etc, please be at the Church, Saturday at 10AM.
Holy Week begins Palm Sunday. The “Triduum” from Holy Thursday – Easter, allows us to participate in unique and beautiful services celebrated once a year.
Monday of Holy Week is “Keep the Lights On” day. Confessions will be held Monday 11 AM-1 PM and 5-7 PM.
I have lost a brother priest. This is our “third” priest to pass away in the past month. Msgr. Dan Lamothe succeeded me as pastor in Keene. He died Monday AM. RIP. Besides those priests already in nursing homes, we have 15 “working” pastors in parishes beyond 75 yrs of age, waiting for “eternal” retirement. We should anticipate and plan for changes in parish landscapes in the next 5 years. Pray for vocations. Pray for Eric Oullette being ordained in June.
Before July, I anticipate taking several weeks of vacation. If I don’t use it, I lose it!!! Hard to get coverage these days.
