Advent Greetings to Everyone!
I love Advent Season with its special readings, music and poetry of joyful expectation, anticipation, and waiting. These stir our hearts and make us HOPE. We pray in thanksgiving that “the Word was made flesh dwells amongst us.” We also watch and wait for His return in glory. Make it a prayerful season to welcome your Savior. Be ready. Pace yourself and plan.

Advent/Christmas decorating begins this Friday at 1PM. Anyone wanting to help please join us.
This Saturday at 10 AM in the Church Hall there will be a presentation for Safety and Emergency Evacuation. We need to be vigilant and knowledgeable of procedures for health emergencies or more sinister situations. Make yourself aware of all exits.
The feast of the Immaculate Conception is Friday December 8th. Due to the parish feast day, we move the celebration to IC at 5:30 in Andover on Friday followed by a pot -luck supper at IC. The Vigil will be at OLF at 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

In addition to our liturgies and daily reflections offered in the booklet "Waiting in Joyful Hope," from December 17 to the 23rd, evenings at 7pm, we will pray the Liturgy of the Hours together online as a faith community. As part of our parish Christmas outreach, the Women’s Society is sponsoring a gift card collection for Loaves and Fishes. Each year, Loaves and Fishes distributes grocery store gift cards to families in need in our area. Last year, they gave out over $5,000 in Hannaford and Market Basket gift cards, and we expect the need to be even greater this year. Please contribute to this effort by purchasing a Hannaford or Market Basket gift card in any amount and depositing it in the gift boxes at the entrance of the church by December 10th. Be sure to note the value of the card on the card and include the receipt if possible. Many, many thanks for your support of those in need.
