As we say goodbye to another summer, the change in season alerts us of many changes happening all around us.
First, our prayers and gratitude to the La Salette Community, who recently have closed their Enfield facility. The priests, deacons and missionary lay folks have been a treasure to our area. Our prayers hopefully will soften their tears as they move on to new adventures.
Second, our very successful Family Faith Formation Program begins this weekend. Those NOT registered can find forms in church narthex or at the link below. All calls and inquiries should be directed to Michelle Wahl in our Faith formation office or llff@olfic.org.
Third, my thanks to all of you who have participated in the “Quick Census”. Many groups rely on the latest information for emails and text messages. Everyone will be added to Flocknote which has become the main parish source of “Breaking News”. Should Mass, or classes, or meetings be cancelled or changed we can send out a notice to those who have filled out the census forms.
My thanks to all whom I notified recently, who have served on the Pastoral Council over the years. We are restructuring the present council and are in the process of upgrading the by-laws and forming a new Council. Thank you for your service.

On November 18 we will hold our annual Holiday Fair. While it is a major fundraiser for our parish, it is also an opportunity to come together as community in the planning and preparation of this wonderful event.
Perhaps you would like to enter into the holiday spirit by helping create themed baskets to be raffled off. Make it a family project or connect with friends and have fun! Next weekend the various themes will be presented (example: coffee basket, wine and crackers, sports themed basket). 25+ themes to choose from with a minimum $50 value. Join together with other parishioners and have fun shopping for items in the theme you choose. Your items will become enticing delights for the lucky winners.
