The Fourth Sunday of Lent
Have you ever walked from a dark room out into the sunlight? It hurts. You end up squinting and wiping away tears from watery eyes. It takes time to adjust, and you may wish to return to the darkness where it's a bit more comfortable. Think of the reverse scenario: when you go from the sunlight into a darker room. Again, it is hard to adjust, and this time you can hardly see. Everything is blurry and out of focus. God calls us to live in the light. The transition to the light can be painful if we are accustomed to the comfort of the dark, but we see much better and can walk in confidence when we're in the light rather than stumbling through life unsure of where we are going in darkness. Are you open to Jesus's invitation to live your life in the light of truth today?

The Men of St Joseph will not meet this Saturday March 13th, but instead we are planning to meet Saturday March 20th to gather for the "LiveStream" mass to celebrate the feast of St. Joseph. Bishop Peter Libasci invites us to join with Men of St. Joseph from all over New Hampshire. We will meet at 7:30 am for the Holy Rosary in either the OLF Library or hall. At 8:00 am, together we will watch the Livestreamed mass with the Bishop followed by breakfast. Please contact Jason ( 603 305 6064) if you would like to attend so we can plan accordingly for the proper meeting space and for breakfast. This would be a great introduction for those who have never attended the Men of St Joseph monthly gathering. Bring a friend!
On December 8, 2020, Pope Francis proclaimed a special “Year of Saint Joseph,” extending to the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8, 2021. In a new Apostolic Letter entitled Patris Corde (“With a Father’s Heart”), Pope Francis marks the 150th anniversary of Blessed Pope Pius IX’s declaration of Saint Joseph as a Patron of the Universal Church, describing him as a model father and a support and guide for troubled times. As a parish, we will celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph with a special Mass on Friday March 19 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima. Join us!

As part of our Lenten journey at Our Lady of Fatima and Immaculate Conception, this year we are blessed to offer The Stations of the Cross AND Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament each Friday during Lent through March 26 at OLF. Adoration will also be part of our Holy Thursday services on April 1.

The Most Blessed Sacrament, when exposed, must never be left unattended. Therefore it is helpful if you can sign up for an open hour time slot so we know that someone will be present. All and many are welcome to attend at any time for any amount of time without signing up —even just 5 five minutes!
